The mission of the St. Stephen AMEC Sunday School Board is to teach those attending (children and adults) more about living for Christ, how to study the Bible, how to pray, how to grow spiritually and enhance their relationship with God, and to serve and witness for Christ. The Sunday School Board prepares and studies each lesson in order to teach so that all students receive understanding and learn about Jesus. As teachers, they are examples to others in the Christian faith.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and some teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
